03.10.17New Arrangement for DIVA featuring Ken Peplowski

I just finished the new arrangement for MCG JAZZ 30TH ANNIVERSARY JAZZ CONCERT - DIVA Jazz Orchestra & the Boys, featuring Ken Peplowski, Claudio Roditi, Maurice Haines and more.

The piece I arranged is called "Slipped Disc" featuring two clarinets, composed by Benny Goodman.

We'll perform the second of our live recordings at Manchester Craftsmen's Guild on March 10 and 11, 2017.

11.04.15My first leader album "Debut" has been released!

I'm very happy to announce that my first leader album has been released in Japan.
My new CD “ Debut" was recorded with two great musicians, long time friends Ted Rosenthal (piano) and Quincy Davis (drums). It includes mostly jazz standards and my original piece “Forget me not".  So far it is only available in Japan. Information about U.S. availability will be coming soon!

Diva jazz orchestra just finished the recording for "Macy's July 4th fireworks 2014".
The repertory includes my arrangement of "This Land is Your Land".
It'll be broadcast on NBC with live fireworks on July 4th 2014.

I will be featured on a Japanese TV show called "Gutto Chikyubin" produced by Yomiuri television.
It's a 30 minute documentary/Variety show, introduce my life as a jazz musician in New York, and also my parents will be featured on it.
It will be on air on Sunday December 27th 10:25 am.

I'm excited to announce that we are making a recording for Ted's new trio CD right before Christmas, (Ted Rosenthal - piano, Noriko Ueda - bass, Quincy Davis - drums), and also having a free concert at Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center on Christmas eve.

We toured in Japan for 4 times, and will have another one in July 2010.
